Who is Ruth Bay?

Ruth Bay is a little girl I once knew. What happened to her? The answer to that is simple…she grew up.

What do you think it is about Ruth Bay that connects with people?

I think people see Ruth Bay as a fun and emotional character. In the book they share her fears, her achievements and her experiences as she discovers something new about herself.

Did you always want to be a writer?

Yes, I loved writing essays and stories at school.

Are there going to be more Ruth Bay books?

I hope so. Ruth Bay and the Minotaur is the first of a trilogy.

When the Ruth Bay series is finished, what plans do you have as far as writing goes?

I have ideas for a couple of picture books.

Who is your inspiration and why?

J. K. Rowling. I think her Harry Potter series is imaginative, creative and brilliant.
