Reviews for Ruth Bay and the Minotaur
Ruth Bay is a smart and insightful look at problems facing children today, with respect to issues at school, at home and even internal struggles that take place as a result of insecurity and desperately wanting to fit in. However, it is written in an utterly charming and entertaining way that allows the reader to escape to wonderment and adventure, right along with the story’s characters.
Laurie Lonsdale, Author
Ruth Bay is a truly motivational character. From the beginning of the book you can really relate to her hopes and fears and her role within the family. The historical side of the story was really well researched and was very convincing. As the reader you really felt transported along with Ruth back to ancient times and hoped tht she could succeed in her aim to help the other characters. I particularly enjyed the mysterious chair and the shopkeeper and would love to see this as a film one day.

I thought it was just great, and I loved the humour in it along with the action and character improvement.

Fantastic Read!
Ruth Bay and the Minotaur is a fun-filled easy-to-read book. The storyline holds the reader’s attention while allowing them to experiment with their own imagination. I really enjoyed the uniqueness of each character and how well the author transitioned Ruth Bay (the main character) from reality to that of the imaginary world.
