The Seed
Inside of each of is a seed, a seed of greatness, a seed of vision, a
seed of destiny.
God made us that way. He designed each of us to hold a special place,
fulfill a special purpose. He knew exactly why he designed each of us
before time began. You are each a seed of your father, a seed of your
heavenly father.
You may not look special. You may not feel special, but special is still
there, whether you feel it or not. Everything God wanted for your life,
every dream he dreamed for your future, its seed is already in you.
Inherent in each of us is the power to become. To become what? You ask.
To become exactly what God saw in us from the beginning of time.
You may be at your lowest point, not be able to see your way past today
and the pain that it brings. But the seed is there. You may have never
known anything but sorrow upon sorrow. But take heart. The seed is still
there. You may wonder how God could ever use someone like you. I did.
But know that our creator envisioned your end before he even began. It
always takes God longer to convince us that we are special than it does
to get the job done once we realize it.
"For I know the thoughts that I think of you, thoughts of good and
not of evil to give you a future and a hope."
So don't be afraid. Rise up! What's in you may be mustard seed small
right now. But still, it's enough. It may take you a while to understand
the vision, to even allow yourself to believe the greatness, but if you
will water that microscopic seed with faith, with prayer, with commitment,
God will surely bring it to pass.
In prayer, in salvation, in healing, in the gifts of the spirit, in the
fruit of the spirit, in ministry, and even in, no especially in things
of destiny, it has never depended on your worthiness. It has always been
dependent on God's faithfulness.
Who you are will never get you there. Who He is will always triumph.
You have to believe that What he says, He will do.
Many times along the way, I thought, I am not going to get through this.
But I had a promise. And when the times got their hardest, I would remind
God of what he said. I told him to wake up whoever he needed to wake up
to get me through this, because he promised. I told him to get the intercessors
on their knees, because he promised. And he's been faithful. He has brought
me through. Through things most people could not imagine. But he has done
it.
If He has proven himself to you in any area of your life, you should
be able to believe him for every area of your life, your growth, your
destiny.
We, as daughters of destiny need to start taking the pressure off ourselves,
and putting it back where it belongs
in the hands of the master.
"For I know in whom I have believed, and I am persuaded that he
is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day"(2Timothy
1:12)
So trust Him to do what he says he will do, and step out into all that
He has seen in you.
Romans 10:9 says that If you confess
with your mouth and believe with your heart that Jesus Christ was raised
from the dead, you will be saved.
To all of my sisters who have not made Jesus the Lord of their lives,
I urge you to do so now, right this instant, because until you do, your
destiny will hang out there, like an unsung song, that the world truly
needs to hear. God needs you for something special, something that will
bless the world. Turn to him and allow him to show you true treasures,
true success, true love.
