Deborah Wood, the author of eight historical romances, also writes under the pseudonym, Deborah Lawrence.

She lives in the northwest, takes long walks on the beach and loves watching sunsets through the pines.

Always a daydreamer and fascinated with the past, Ms. Wood puts her experience and knowledge to good use in the books she writes. She was raised by her grandmother and never tired of the stories about her great-grandparents, and their 19th Century farm fueled her imagination.
