Romance Author - Elixabeth Graham

I grew up in the Missouri Ozarks and still love the country and mountains. My husband Lewis and I have four children -- two of each -- and seven grandchildren. Lewis spent twenty years in the Army and we lived many places, including Hawaii, Germany and Pennsylvania, where we owned a pre-Civil War farmhouse -- with its own resident ghost in the attic. No wonder I like writing and reading historical romances and fantasies! Now we live in the country near Pensacola, Florida, with several eccentric cats and a pair of even more eccentric geese. I enjoy writing about the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, with the rural South and the Eastern Seaboard for my settings.

My heros/heroines are strong -- their growth comes from realizing their own wrong-headedness -- call it stubbornness if you like. Of course they're a little larger than life. But not perfect by any means. That would be boring.

"When a mother and father decide their children would be a perfect match, they begin to play matchmaker, not realizing their children are at the same task.
