Taking A Stand. . . For Love
For powerhouse attorney Terrence Johnson, giving up a long-awaited
vacation is a small price to pay for helping out an indigent teenager
about to stand trial for murder. His arrival is the talk of the
small Georgia town where Carol Grant has come seeking a haven from
the stresses of her own job and playing temporary mother to her
brothers' young sons. Falling in love isn't even a distant star
on her horizon. But once Terrence and Carol meet, there's no turning
back for either of them. Warm and compassionate, the sexy defender
isn't at all what Carol expects. And Terrence is attracted to her
gentle, caring ways and the fiery passion she hides beneath a wary
reserve. But when Carol is falsely accused of a crime, Terrence
must somehow convince this proud woman that she needs him as much
as he needs her. Can he find a way to keep her counsel and clear
her name before they lose the most important thing in both their
lives?
The
Heart Doesn't Lie
A NIGHTMARE FROM THE PAST
Jay Lee's dream job has finally come true--she's on her way to Africa
to do cultural research on African marriages. The pay is excellent,
the landscape is breathtaking--and so is her supervisor; Trent Prescott.
But then she discovers that he's from the same Prescott family she's
been warned to avoid all her life--the family blamed for the hit
and run deaths of her parents. Now, as she struggles to resist the
fiery attraction between them, Jay Lee wonders if she will have
to choose between loyalty to her loved ones...and following her
heart.
A FUTURE FILLED WITH LOVE
Trent Prescott isn't thrilled with his current work assignment.
Researching African Marriages only reminds him of his broken engagement
and the pain left in its wake. He never counted on meeting Jay Lee,
a woman whose strength and beauty not only entrance him, but reawaken
feelings he thought were numbed. He knows he has to be cautious,
not just to protect himself from getting hurt, but because Jay Lee;s
hesitation seems to run deep. Once he discovers the truth, will
be able to stop an ugly feud from the past from destroying a beautiful
love in the present?
Sanders paints a beautiful picture of love
and romance. A look or word can convey sensuality and realness as
effortlessly as a myriad of silken descriptions. THE HEART DOESN'T
LIE has substance. The fact that her characters are researching
their cultural heritage is not only entertaining, but also informative.
Truly a must read for any audience. --Romantic Times
Sander's book is a tender story about the
power of love and the pull of family. She deeply explores each character
and the reader immediately understands what make them tick. This
is a wonderful novel for a lazy afternoon. --Contemporary A romance
