Once again, I'm working hard to find donors from the Upper Midwest who will offer gift certificates for merchandise, free dinners, entertainment and various services. A number of authors from around the country are working on this auction, and there will be many cool items to bid on--including gift baskets, stays at resorts and B&B's (including my favorite--The Blue Belle Inn!) There will also be critiques by editors, agents and authors, autographed books, a diamond necklace--even a new car! Items are being listed daily, and the auction will be in full swing through the entire month of May.
All of the money goes to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Donors and bidders can make a tax deductible contribution, and millions of children with diabetes will benefit. We're hoping for LOTS of bidders! If you can donate certificates for any sort of goods, services, restaurants and so on, we'd appreciate it so much.
