Welcome!

Thanks so much for stopping by for a visit. I hope you'll browse through the various areas here, and then let me know what you think. I love to hear from readers!

I'm happy to announce the news of some upcoming books in 2007 and 2008...

In September, 2007, my fifteenth Harlequin SuperRomance will be released. LONE STAR LEGACY (ISBN 978-373-71442-1) is a romantic suspense set in Texas. What happens when a woman loses nearly everything--her husband, her home, and even her reputation, and is suspected of a crime she didn't commit? A legacy from her late aunt is Beth Lindstrom's chance for new beginnings far from Chicago, though little Lone Wolf, Texas might not be quite ready for the sort of café she has in mind. And then, someone from her past follows her there...

In late 2007, I'll be adding a new direction to my writing--my first book for Steeple Hill's Love Inspired Suspense. I'm so thrilled to be writing for this exciting inspirational line! HARD EVIDENCE (December, 2007, ISBN 978-0-373-44271-3) is the first title of a trilogy set in the Wyoming Rockies. The other two books will be released (tentative dates) February, 2008 and April or May, 2008. Each story involves a daughter of an indomitable, tough widow who fought to hold her ranch together, and raised her family against all odds. There are old wounds in this family that drove them apart, but Claire's failing health has now brought her daughters together. Janna, in HARD EVIDENCE (book #1), plans to leave teaching and refurbish an abandoned guest lodge on a distant part of the family's Snow Canyon Ranch. It's a great plan, until skeletal remains are discovered at the lodge, and the murderer resurfaces.

In book #2 (not titled yet), Leigh returns to the area to establish a veterinary clinic. She loves the challenge of dealing with everyone from grizzled old cowhands to the super-elite settling in the area with their pampered horses and pets--but someone wants her to fail, and won't stop at murder to see it happen.

In Book #3 (not titled yet), Tessa is living out her dreams, running the family's horse and cattle ranch, and operating a high country outfitting business on the side. Until a vagabond photographer shows up, and dangers mount...

After this trilogy, I'll also have a Harlequin Everlasting Love release, probably in late 2008. This is a new line that's going to be a dynamite addition to the bookshelves! Many readers long to read more about characters they've come to love, and not have to stop at the point where the couple makes a commitment to each other. You can find out more about these books by clicking on Harlequin Everlasting Love, at www.eharlequin.com The first books (February, 2007) are by two wonderful authors, and the rest of the line-up looks wonderful. I'm so happy to have a chance to write a story for this line!

If you'd like to visit me, you can find my blog at http://roxannerustand.blogstream.com where I plan to be adding posts and responding at least once a week. So bookmark it, and do come back. I'd love to meet you there! The site requires a free (and easy!) sigh-up step.

Finally...you can find my books at bookstores, discount stores (ask at Target, Wal-mart, K-mart) and many grocery stores or drug stores, but they are shelved around the 10 th to the 14 th of the release month and are usually gone quickly. Bookstores can order them for you, at no extra charge, or you can try at www.eharlequin.com If all else fails, my local independent bookstore always lets me buy a box of my books, so I'll have some extra copies for readers who can't find them. For the cover price and media mail shipping, I can come up with some of the titles that are long-gone from other places.

Wishing you all the best,
Roxanne
