Jon specialises in procurement challenges for both suppliers and contracting authorities.
He dealt with one of the first procurement cases heard by the Court of Appeal, a wide ranging and high profile challenge to a procurement decision of national significance by the Legal Aid Agency representing a firm of solicitors affected by the decision, a multi-national business as an interested in party in a challenge to an NHS decision relating to a logistics contract worth over £700 million and latterly a challenge to a Government department’s time critical logistics contract.
Jon has recently been involved in defending a number of high value procurement claims on behalf of authorities such as Greater Manchester Police and the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime and is working closely with a Central Government Department in respect of high value contractual claims relating to products supplied to the Department.
