Tara advises on all aspects of banking litigation on behalf of major lenders and banking clients.
She has particular expertise in residential mortgage disputes including contentious and non-contentious complex title rectification work, possession cases and defending challenges to mortgage security. She also specialises in advising specialist lenders in the later life lending market.
Previously, Tara was Head of Legal at Stroud & Swindon Building Society. She applies her extensive in-house experience and technical knowledge to deliver effective and commercial solutions for clients.

- Advising multiple later life lenders on mortgage terms and conditions, recoveries and drafting of key documentation
- Advising mortgage lenders on complex title rectification cases including reinstating legal charges where mortgage lenders have discharged their charges at HM Land Registry in error
- Successfully representing a mortgage lender in two separate claims in the Court of Appeal concerning the enforceability of the mortgage contract with the customer
- Acting for mortgage lenders in complex mortgage fraud and relief from forfeiture applications
