Amy advises employers and employees in both the public and private sector on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment and HR issues.
She has considerable experience of conducting employment litigation, including advising on complex and multi-party discrimination.
Amy also provides advice on day-to-day employment matters, including grievances, disciplinary matters, and sickness absence, as well as complex projects involving redundancy, restructuring and outsourcing. In addition, she specialises in business immigration, advising on a wide variety of immigration matters such as right to work issues, sponsor duties and visa applications.

Experience
- Acting for a large retailer defending complex employment tribunal claims including discrimination and unfair dismissal claims.
- Delivering bespoke training and workshops for clients on employment and immigration law.
- Provision of legal advice and support to a client undertaking a widespread redundancy exercise, including preparation of information packs and guidance on preparation of a matrix and scoring as well as assistance with the negotiation of senior director exit packages and compromise agreements.
- Securing a sponsor licence for a client who required the same to secure a key employee for the business.
