Christopher is a Senior Associate in TLT’s Technology, IP and Data team, with particular expertise on advising clients within Digital, Telecoms and Financial Services sectors on a range of technology, commercial and data protection matters.
Christopher’s experience in private practice has been supplemented by time spent recently in industry on a six-month secondment to the legal privacy team of a telecoms giant, and a separate three-month secondment with one of the UK’s largest Fintech companies.
Christopher has also been recognised as a 'Recommended Lawyer' for Intellectual Property in the Legal 500 (2021 & 2022).

- Global Payment Company (valued at $40 billion) - Advising on the data elements of a range of financial technology and payments matters, including leading the development of a global Intra-Group Data Transfer Agreement (IGTA) to formalise the data sharing relationship across the client’s 30+ entities around the World. This involved analysis of complex data flows across the Group and drafting of the IGTA to map the routine data sharing arrangements.
- Global Telecommunications Company – Advising on the procurement and launch of a modern mobile customer messenger service. This involved advising the client on data protection implications of sending and receiving encrypted messages via Apple and Google and negotiating key data privacy points with US-based communications software provider.
- UK Regulatory Authority – Advising on its procurement of a legal case management functionality from a software provider.
