From her time in-house at a tech start-up, and on secondments with one of the UK’s largest fintech companies and a multi-national tobacco company, Flora understands what matters to her clients, working with them to best support them with their commercial objectives.

Experience
- Providing data protection support to a multinational company valued at £16.5 billion; leading on its review and updates to its 30+ supplier data protection agreements for compliance with recent legislative updates and regulatory guidance. In particular this involved reviewing the international transfers of personal data to ensure that they were lawful.
- Advising on and negotiating a data analytics software licence agreement for a multinational organisation, the use of which was strategically important to its business.
- Advising a global payment company valued at $40 billion on the data elements of a range of financial technology and payments matters.
- Whilst on secondment, acting as a point of contact within an international tobacco company for data protection queries. In particular, this has involved the onboarding of HR software providers, international data transfers, responding to DPIAs, and providing data protection training within the organisation.
