He acts for all major banks and financial institutions lending to the Greek market, drafting loan and security documentation for syndicated/bilateral new-building facilities, second hand financings, multi-currency loans, interest rate swaps, etc. Jeremy has experience in all aspects of banking and asset finance, including marina and port development financings.
Jeremy also acts for shipping companies negotiating new building contracts with ship builders throughout the world, as well as in the negotiation of long term charters and leasing arrangements. He advises shipping companies on joint venture arrangements and other corporate and commercial shipping matters, as well as all aspects of due diligence in relation to public and private offerings in London and New York (including listings on AIM, the LSE Main Market, NASDAQ and NYSE).
Jeremy can assist lenders with the renegotiation and restructuring of existing credit facilities and, where necessary, provide assistance with workouts and enforcements all over the world.
He is independently recognised as an expert in the field of Shipping Finance by Chambers Europe, Chambers Global and Legal 500 guides to the legal profession.
Jeremy qualified in 1992, having trained in Bahrain, Piraeus and London. He joined TLT when the firm merged with Constant & Constant in June 2007.
