Molly is an Associate in the Competition and Regulatory team.

Her experience covers a wide range of competition and regulatory matters, with a particular focus on consumer and advertising law.

Molly has particular experience with complex competition and consumer investigations brought by the Competition and Markets Authority – including both infringement investigations and market investigations. This means she regularly provides support and advice in relation to responding to information requests, responding to consultations and preparing for and attending hearings with regulators.

She also has experience advising and supporting in relation to competition appeals brought in the Competition Appeal Tribunal.

In addition, she provides compliance and behavioural advice, focusing mainly on:

  • UK competition law compliance
  • Compliance with the Consumer Rights Act, Consumer Contracts Regulations and Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulation.
  • Advertising law, including compliance with the CAP Code, ASA investigations and comparative advertising disputes.

  • Advised on its appeal of the CMA’s infringement decision in relation to alleged anti-competitive use of most favoured nation clauses in the Competition Appeal Tribunal.

  • Advised a leading travel company during an investigation brought by the CMA’s COVID-19 Taskforce in relation to alleged consumer law and Package Travel Regulation breaches during the pandemic.
