Sarah advises clients on a variety of private client matters including the preparation of wills, lasting powers of attorney, registering and advising on enduring powers of attorney, court of protection applications, trusts and estate administration.

Sarah qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2019 and is a member of Solicitors for the Elderly.

  • Recently advising in the administration of the estate where the deceased made considerable lifetime gifts and reducing the taxable value after an assessment of gifts out of excess income.
  • Providing advice to a married couple on inheritance tax, taking into consideration the residence nil rate band to ensure the clients have effective Wills in place and can continue with effective estate planning in the future.
  • Advising on and drafting Lasting Powers of Attorney for an elderly couple for both property and financial affairs and health and welfare.
  • Advising trustees as to their responsibilities in relation to their charitable trust and co-ordinating the administration for the trust.
