Stacey specialises in construction law, supporting a range of clients in markets including residential and mixed use, hotels, student accommodation, healthcare, retirement living, offices and retail.
She provides advice on all aspects of transactional construction law, from procurement to completion. She drafts and negotiates across the range of standard forms and bespoke contracts, appointments, warranties and associated documents. She also provides input in relation to a range of real estate documents including development agreements, forward fund agreements and agreements for lease. Her expertise includes all aspects of construction due diligence in real estate and corporate transactions.
Stacey regularly advises parties on a broad spectrum of issues including procurement options, key risks and the appropriate allocation of construction risk. She is familiar with the development and investment market and is alive to the need to balance commercial and legal interests, especially in the construction market which can be very susceptible to local and global factors.

- Stacey advised Network Homes Investments Limited on all the construction aspects of a development and disposal of an element of its landmark £140m+ residential property (575 residential units including 174 affordable apartments) development in Southall, London, to Grainger plc. Stacey’s role involved multiple contracts/appointments negotiated with multiple parties with varying interests, and assisting Network with their internal governance process and approvals.
- Stacey acted for one of the largest privately owned real estate investment firms on one of its first ventures in the student accommodation market, a development of circa 600 beds with construction costs of £30m, using a JCT Design and Build form of contract and putting in place multiple appointment agreements.
- Stacey advised a Local Authority client on numerous contracts for housing development, refurbishment to educational establishments, construction of a nursing home and other major projects (including regeneration and development works) using a range of contracts and appointment agreements. Stacey is the main contact for the various internal legal teams and all instructions to the TLT team route through her to ensure the client receives consistent and good customer service.
