Victoria has a wealth of experience advising both claimants and defendants on a wide range of complex commercial disputes in the High Court.

She advises a broad range of clients, including high net worth individuals, large financial institutions, public entities and commercial entities.

She regularly advises on contractual and professional negligence claims and has ample experience in alternative dispute resolution, with a particular focus on mediation. Her practice spans a range of sectors.

Victoria has experience of practising in-house and also holds an MBA. This means that she is well placed to provide strategic advice to achieve commercial solutions for her clients.

Victoria has a strong interest in pro bono; prior to joining TLT in 2022, she managed the pro bono practice at an international law firm. She also sits on the Associates Committee of the Commercial Litigators’ Forum.

  • KeyMed (Medical & Industrial Equipment) Ltd v (1) Hillman and (2) Woodford [2019] EWHC 485 (Ch): Three-week trial defending two individuals in a claim for fraud, breach of directors’ duties, breach of contract and negligence in relation to a £60m+ pension dispute (featured in The Lawyer’s Top 20 cases of 2018).
  • Dahabshiil Transfer Services Ltd v Barclays Bank Plc & oths [2013] EWHC 3379 (Ch): Defending Barclays in injunctive proceedings and subsequent litigation concerning competition law claims of high reputational risk to the bank.
  • Defending one of the top English universities in a biotech procurement challenge in the Technology and Construction Court by an unsuccessful tenderer.
  • Defending a plastics manufacturer in a claim for negligence and breach of contract.
  • Acting for a Turkish state-owned enterprise in an ICC arbitration brought by a Dutch/Turkish joint venture company regarding construction works undertaken on a section of the strategically important Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline. Acting for that entity in enforcement proceedings in Jersey.
  • Working with Peace Brigades International to produce a toolbox of resources to assist human rights defenders in their work protecting citizens around the world and delivering associated training in the UK and Colombia.
