Nick first joined TLT from Pinsent Masons in 2018 and has been re-appointed following a year working as group legal and operations director at The Bureau Group focusing on the circular economy.
He has specialised in the clean energy sector for the last twenty years, advising a range of clients across the public and private sector in the whole of the UK. Nick has particular expertise in renewable energy projects (from onshore wind and offshore wind to solar, battery storage, EV, biomass and marine power) acting for developers, funders and investors on all aspects of project development through to exit.
Boasting in-depth knowledge and understanding of the energy and real estate sectors, Nick is uniquely placed in the market to provide property, commercial, contractual and structuring advice to energy clients.
Nick will be based at the firm’s Glasgow office, working closely with the national future energy and real estate teams, further expanding the breadth of service the firm offers clients in these areas.
The news follows a number of key strategic hires in TLT’s future energy team including the appointment of three new future energy partners - David Miller (real estate), Michael Kruger (banking & finance) and Juliet Stradling (regulatory).
