TLT achieves international standard for occupational health and safety management

TLT has attained ISO 45001 certification, the International Standard for occupational health and safety management systems.

The standard provides a framework to enable businesses to implement effective arrangements for managing occupational health and safety (OH&S) in the workplace. TLT’s OH&S management system has been developed in-line with the requirements of ISO 45001, demonstrating how the firm will:

• care for the occupational health and safety of its employees and others affected by its activities
• comply with legislation
• facilitate continual improvement.

This voluntary standard demonstrates TLT’s commitment to the health, safety and wellbeing of its people and determination to go beyond. Attainment of ISO 45001 includes the need for continual improvement of the firm’s systems and approach to health and safety management, which will be shown through a cyclical auditing process.

This certification joins the family of ISO Standards already achieved within TLT, including ISO 9001:2015 for quality management systems, and ISO 14001:2015 for environmental management.
