UK law firm TLT has been appointed to Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) Public Sector Legal Services panel.

The panel was established by CCS to provide a self-service and compliant route to market for a range of legal services requirements for the wider public sector.

CCS supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2021/2022, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits equal to £2.8 billion - supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.

TLT was appointed to Lots 1 and 2 of the panel providing commercial legal services across a wide range of specialisms including social housing, employment, health care, information technology, and many more.

Senior partner and head of government and public services at TLT Andrew Glyn commented: “We are delighted our efforts and delivery across the public sector has been rewarded once again by being appointment to the Public Sector Legal Services Panel. Since our first appointment four year ago, we have significantly expanded the range and depth of what we offer and it is great to see this recognised. This investment and commitment have been recognised across TLT. Credit is due to our public sector team whose expertise and dedication has made us one of the leading firms in the sector.”

This appointment follows the appointment of Gemma Townley as a partner in its technology, IT and data team, being awarded a contract by the UK’s Department for International Trade to advise on trade negotiations with India, and recruiting Zaqia Rashid to set up and lead a new public inquiries team.
