Mandatory elements include data protection; public law; contracts; procurement law; employment and HR; property, development and planning; competition law; banking and finance; partnerships and projects; litigation and disputes. TLT will also advise across NEPO’s additional specialisms - ICT; IP; energy and natural resources; food, rural and environmental law, EU law, insolvency, debt recovery, education, charities, licencing, prosecutions, health and safety, highways; and corporate law.
TLT is one of 18 law firms to have been appointed to the panel. The team will be led by partner and head of housing and regeneration David Meecham, with legal director and deputy lead Victoria Douglas.
David Meecham said: “We are pleased to have been appointed to NEPO’S legal services framework, supporting authorities in the North East and facilitating access to a wide range of goods and legal services. TLT has a strong history of supporting businesses in the public sector, with our team boasting the first-in-class knowledge to support their unique needs and requirements.”
