UK law firm TLT has been awarded bronze for this year’s Payroll Giving Quality Mark, showcasing the people-first culture and generosity of staff at TLT.

The government supported Payroll Giving Quality Mark is a benchmarking system that recognises when an employer offers employees a Payroll Giving scheme. Employers that offer the scheme are eligible to receive a Quality Mark if they achieve set participation rates. The bronze award is given to companies with over 1% of their colleague base donating through Payroll Giving.

As a customer of the Charities Aid Foundation, one of the largest Payroll Giving Agencies in the UK, TLT offers employees the opportunity to donate to causes that are important to them. The firm runs and promotes a give-as-you-earn scheme allowing employees to schedule regular charitable donations, respond quickly to emergency appeals, sponsor friends and family, or make one-off donations.

The Charities Aid Foundation saw increased donations via payroll giving in 2020-2021 as employees stepped up to support their communities. This is despite the many personal and business challenges that were brought by Covid-19.

Sarah Summers, reward manager at TLT said: “We are proud to offer an accessible give-as-you-earn scheme to everyone at TLT that encourages participation at all levels. Charitable giving is an easy way to donate to causes that are important to us, which helps us provide a constant income for charities that make a huge difference in our communities.”
