TLT commits to Bristol Women in Business Charter
TLT have become a signatory of the Bristol Women in Business Charter, a city-wide initiative set-up to support Bristol businesses in improving gender equality.
By becoming a signatory TLT have made a commitment to improve gender equality in the business through various goals that the Charter sets out, including extending the availability of part-time and flexible working, committing to close the gender pay gap and increasing the number of women in senior-level roles.
Andrew Webber, partner and champion for Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Wellbeing at TLT, said:
“We recognise how important it is to have an equal and inclusive workplace and to ensure there are no barriers to career progression.
Joining initiatives such as the Bristol Women in Business Charter means we can work toward common goals alongside other businesses that share our ambition for improvement.
We have already made strides in introducing measures to improve gender equality, and I look forward to seeing what more we can achieve as part of the Charter.”
TLT recently announced its May promotions, which included a 75% gender split for partner promotions and 82% for legal director.
In its 2018 gender pay gap report, TLT outlined what they are doing across the business to drive change, including internal mentoring schemes, delivering unconscious bias training, building on flexible working arrangements with tech-led solutions and supporting access to the legal profession through social mobility initiatives.
