TLT featured in The Times Best Law Firms list 2024

UK law firm TLT has been recognised in The Times Best Law Firms list for the sixth consecutive year for its expertise in six practice areas across England and Wales.

The firm has been commended for administrative & public law; banking & finance; commercial dispute resolution; employment; and intellectual property.

TLT’s market-leading work in successfully overturning a £17.9 million fine imposed on the comparison website Compare the Market by the Competition Markets Authority (CMA) is highlighted in the listing.

In addition, the listing also recognises TLT’s expertise in corporate renewable energy, specifically referencing the firm’s work advising Enso Green Holdings Limited (EGHL) – Cero Generation’s joint venture with Enso Energy. TLT advised on the sale of a ready-to-build co-located solar and battery portfolio consisting of seven projects with a total capacity of 720 megawatts, understood to be the largest ready-to-build co-located portfolio sold in the UK.

The Times Best Law Firms list is compiled by The Times and independent market research company Statista based on a survey of over 4,000 solicitors and barristers in England and Wales, and lists the top 250 legal practices for business, public and private-client law in England and Wales and the top 20 in Scotland.

The announcement follows a successful year, in which TLT has grown its revenue by 9% to £157m in 2022/2023, up from £144m in 2021/2022. It also saw TLT crowned Law Firm of the Year at the Legal Business Awards, the third Law Firm of the Year award it has taken away in as many years, having previously been named Law Firm of the Year at the Lawyer Awards in 2021 and the British Legal Awards in 2022.

The firm’s success has been attributed to its strategic vision to 2025 aiming to drive sustainable financial growth by increasing resources, developing the firm’s reach locally; nationally; and internationally, and using the latest integrated technology, whilst delivering a progressive workplace agenda, with market-leading sustainability.
