TLT highly commended at FT Innovative Lawyers Awards Europe

Law firm TLT has been highly commended for the Practice of law award (in Disputes) at the FT Innovative Lawyers Awards Europe 2023, celebrating the most innovative lawyers in the European legal industry.

The Practice of law award features the most innovative services that lawyers have developed for clients in Europe. TLT’s competition team was highly commended in the Disputes category, alongside Linklaters, for advising leading price comparison website Compare the Market, in connection with the successful appeal of a £17.9 million fine imposed by the Competition Markets Authority (CMA) in 2020. Led by partner Miles Trower, the case was the first time the use of price parity clauses by digital platforms had received full judicial scrutiny in a specialist competition court.

This achievement follows the competition team’s recent win at the Legal Business Awards 2023, where they were crowned Competition Team of the Year and TLT was awarded Law Firm of the Year for its exceptional contributions to the legal industry in 2022.
