TLT has been providing managed legal services since its formation in 2000 but the last 12 months have seen unprecedented demand for this part of the business, delivering 30% growth. Jonathan’s hire is the latest in a series of people and technology investments to accelerate this practice which supports banks and other large corporates with outsourced litigation and contract services, remediation projects, document reviews and DSARs. The investment is part of TLT’s 2025 strategy to anticipate clients’ future needs for delivery of legal services. Jonathan joins as an Operations Board member.
Jonathan commented: “Clients’ needs are changing fast. They want their legal service providers to be able to handle complex transactions and disputes as well as work at scale, bringing the best use of intelligent technology, efficient processes, data and flexible resources into a seamless solution. TLT has over 20 years of experience of delivering legal services differently and I am excited to be joining at a time of exceptional growth.”
John Wood, Managing Partner, added: “We are truly delighted that Jonathan has joined our leadership team to accelerate the further growth of our practice. The outsourcing of work streams or major projects forms an increasing part of the operating model of all successful legal departments. GCs want the strategic expertise of a trusted partner law firm with the delivery capability of an ALSP. Having this under one roof as an integrated offering helps our clients’ legal departments focus on strategic issues and adding business value. It’s part of our commitment to help our clients be ready for what comes next.”
TLT’s managed legal services forms part of a wider multi-disciplinary offering for clients beyond core legal services, including FutureLaw legal technology and transformation consulting, procurement and contract management services and data privacy advisory services.
