National law firm TLT has been shortlisted in three categories at the Bristol Law Society Annual Awards.
The awards celebrate the talent and diversity of teams and individuals in Bristol and the surrounding area.
Corporate renewable energy partner Kay Hobbs has been nominated for Lawyer of the Year acknowledging her contributions to the renewables energy sector and the pivotal role she has played in positioning TLT as a global leader in the sector, championing sustainability in the South West and progressing the UK’s wider net-zero transition.
In addition, Bristol-based associate Becky Panton has been shortlisted for the Junior Lawyer of the Year Award in recognition of her outstanding successes in TLT’s banking and finance team. Specialising in finance projects in the future energy sector, her budding career advising on the finance of some of the UK’s major renewables projects has already contributed substantially to the nationwide net-zero movement.
TLT was also nominated for the Legal Innovator of the Year Award for having developed an interactive, online training simulation for clients which makes competition law training compelling and engaging. Developed and implemented by the firm’s FutureLaw and competition teams, the simulation allows clients to practice their response to dawn raids and, receive personalised feedback and recommendations with performance data used to tailor future training.
Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony taking place on 2 November in Bristol. For more information visit: www.bristollawsociety.com
