National law firm TLT has partnered with Root-Power to help secure options for lease, including for 17 upcoming battery storage projects across the UK. Root-Power is a leading battery energy storage system (BESS) specialist which owns, builds and operates storage sites across the UK and is part of the YLEM Energy Group.
The new partnership will ensure that positive environmental outcomes and sustainability are prioritised as Root-Power continues the growth of its portfolio, including with 17 upcoming projects, totalling over 1 GW.

The relationship with Root-Power was originated by partner Matt Grimwood, with managing associate Lowri Morgan leading the day-to-day delivery team, supported by associate Tsz Wo Siu and paralegal Victoria Robinson.
