UK law firm TLT has been widely recognised at The Women & Diversity in Law Awards.

The firm has been shortlisted for five awards including Gender Equality Initiative of the Year, Environmental Sustainability Initiative of the Year, and Responsible Business of the Year. Siân Ashton, client service transformation partner, has also been nominated for Innovator of the Year and Maria Connolly, head of future energy and real estate, has been nominated for Responsible Leader of the Year. 


These nominations include recognition for TLT’s acceleration of a flexible working policy and implementation of new generous and supportive family leave provisions that caters to diverse family types and offers increasing flexibility to new parents. Responsible business initiatives also include securing external environmental target validation and launching menopause, trans and non-binary policies.


Siân Ashton, nominated for Innovator of the Year, is recognised for her contribution to the design and development of TLT Concierge, a next generation Legal Front Door enabling in-house legal teams to manage, prioritise, automate, and analyse their work; transforming the way they deliver legal services to their business.


Maria Connolly, executive board sponsor for TLT's sustainability strategy, has been nominated for Responsible Leader of the Year. Her contributions have seen sustainability become a key pillar for the firm’s 2025 growth strategy. She has also overseen TLT’s ambitious commitment to achieving net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2040 which has been verified by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).


These awards celebrate exceptional contributions that are helping to make the UK legal profession increasingly diverse and inclusive. 


The winners will be announced at a gala dinner and awards ceremony on the evening of Tuesday 21 March at Marriott Grosvenor Square, London.
