TLT has been shortlisted for two awards at the Privacy Team of the Year award at the PICCASO Privacy Awards Europe 2023, recognising the firm’s role in making outstanding contributions to this dynamic and fast-growing sector.

TLT’s shortlisting for Privacy Team of the Year follows the data protection team’s work at the forefront of legal developments in data protection. They advise on the full range of data protection and privacy law matters, assisting in managing not just the legal risks, but clients’ ethical and reputational challenges as well. As well as responding to changes in the data landscape after they have happened the team also consults on the development of policy before the changes happen

Head of information and cyber security at TLT, Noha Amin, was also nominated for Best Educator for her role acting as the central point of contact within TLT with regards to information security. In addition, Noha was recognised in this category for her commitment and dedication to working with young women to educate and raise awareness about careers in tech and inspire women in tech to reach for senior positions. Noha’s nomination also acknowledges a number of her significant achievements including online voluntary work and her participation in sector events throughout the year. 

The PICCASO Privacy Awards recognise the people and organisations making impactful contributions to the future of privacy and data protection, including professionals ensuring their clients meet increasingly complex privacy requirements.

Gareth Oldale, head of data privacy and cybersecurity at TLT (shortlisted for PICCASO Privacy Awards Privacy Leader of the Year last year), commented: We’re thrilled to have been nominated for this phenomenal award.
