TLT shortlisted in The Legal 500 Scotland Awards 2023

TLT and five of its top lawyers have been recognised in the newly launched The Legal 500 Scotland Awards, demonstrating the first-in-class service delivered by the law firm in Scotland.

These awards will recognise the lawyers, law firms and in-house legal departments setting the pace north of the border, celebrating their achievements over the last 18 months.

The Legal 500 said: “We have long taken a keen interest in this dynamic market, tracking the shifting fortunes of the leading firms as mergers and economic tailwinds have reshaped the legal landscape, and this year we are taking our engagement to new heights with the launch of our first-ever legal awards in Scotland.”

TLT has been shortlisted for the ESG Firm of the Year Award in recognition of TLT’s ambitious strategic and responsible business priorities, with the move into TLT’s new net zero office space in Glasgow last summer playing a key part in supporting the firm’s strategic vision of sustainable growth.

In addition, five TLT lawyers have been nominated across several categories, showcasing the firm’s expertise in corporate, licensing, insolvency, professional negligence, sport and insolvency. The nominees for Lawyer of the Year award in their respective categories are partners Damien Bechelli, Stephen McGowan, John Paul Sheridan and Keith Anderson and legal director Ainslie Benzie has been shortlisted as finance rising star of the year.

The shortlist and winners are determined from The Legal 500’s market-leading independent research for the annual UK solicitors guide. The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony taking place on Thursday 23 November 2023.
