TLT takes top prize at the prestigious British Legal Awards having been named UK Law Firm of the Year.

Now in their 13th edition, the British Legal Awards – hosted by Law.com International – bring together the best of the UK’s legal community, recognising the outstanding achievements of those who work in the industry.

TLT was singled out in this category for the firm’s record financial growth, which saw revenue move from £110m in 2020/2021 to £144m in 2021/2022. The firm was also praised for its transformative sustainability strategy, progressive people-first initiative, its significant sector growth and its client-centred approach which has delivered impactful results for clients.

The win follows a series of award successes in the last year, including being awarded Law Firm of the Year at The Herald of Scotland Law Awards, Law Firm of the Year at the Manchester Legal Awards 2022, and being highly commended for the People Management and the Sustainable Business of Law awards at the FT Innovative Lawyers Awards Europe 2022.

John Wood, managing partner at TLT commented: “Winning UK Law Firm of the Year is an incredible achievement and a welcome recognition of our growth and success in the last year.

“Our commitment and dedication to investing in our people and resources are resulting in a best-in-class service for those we work with. We’re proud that our efforts are being recognised in the wider industry and delighted to have taken away top prize in this competitive category.

“I’m really grateful to all our colleagues and clients who have contributed to the win and are a crucial part of our story.”
