We’ve teamed up with Place North West for the latest podcast episode in their COP26 series. Legal director Joseph Meredith provided insight into the tug-of-war being fought between occupiers and landlords over who should pay to bring buildings in line with sustainability targets.

The drive for net-zero is not going away and there are thousands of commercial buildings across the country that need to be upgraded in line with changing legislation and expectations.  But who should foot the bill for this work, those who own the buildings or those who use them?

This episode is part of Place North West’s COP26 podcast series, which looks at sustainability solutions within the property industry ahead of the UN Climate Change conference in Glasgow this November.
