Financial crime policy statement

TLT LLP is fully committed to adopting strict compliance with all applicable rules and regulations, with specific emphasis on the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002, the Bribery Act 2010, the Terrorism Act 2000, the Criminal Finances Act 2017, and the Money Laundering Regulations 2017.

The firm will verify clients and certain connected persons at the start of the business relationship, including the source of funds and wealth used in any transactions.

This risk assessment will continue on an ongoing basis to identify any transactions or client activities which require further investigation, and where necessary, ensure any suspicions of financial crime is reported to the relevant authorities.

There may also be circumstances in which TLT LLP is not able to proceed with an instruction and may cease acting for a client, for example if satisfactory evidence of identity is not provided. There are robust policies and procedures in place to combat financial crime, and all Partners and relevant staff are given training on how to comply with the regulations.
