This expansion reflects TLT's ongoing commitment to investing in Scotland, ensuring the firm remains agile in supporting the evolving needs of its clients while also providing colleagues with the space and resources required to succeed.
Designed from scratch to support TLT's flexible approach to working, TLT World, the enhanced office offers 60 additional desks, more meeting rooms and new areas that foster innovation, connection and wellbeing.
The news follows a year of record-breaking financial performance for TLT with revenue up to 187m for FY2024/2025, adding over 400% growth in turnover in six years in Scotland. Glasgow has played a central role in this success, acting as a cornerstone of the firms broader growth strategy.
TLTs Scottish team has gone from strength-to-strength, with recent partner appointments across sectors and service lines including Colin Brown (Real Estate), Douglas Roberts (Corporate), Keith Anderson (Commercial Disputes Resolution), Euan Cluness (Banking) and Nick Shenken (Future Energy).
The firm has advised on a wide range of client matters including high-profile transactions in future energy and financial services, and complex regulatory and litigation work in retail, leisure, real estate and business immigration. These have included:
- supporting Uniper in securing a 46.2MW wind project from Energiekontor,
- advising student accommodation specialists Fusion Group in their acquisition of a city centre site in Glasgow for a purpose-built student accommodation development,
- advising Bespoke Hotels on the purchase of a portfolio of three Scottish hotels and, subsequently, acting for them in a funding exercise involving these and a number of other hotels purchased for them previously
- the licensing for flagship events at the Murrayfield Stadium, including the recent Oasis concert
- HSBC UK Bank plc and HSBC Invoice Finance Limited in relation to the increase of asset-based lending facilities to a manufacturer in the food and drink sector.
John Paul Sheridan, Partner and Head of Location in Scotland said: The expansion is a reflection of the momentum were seeing in Scotland and demonstrates our commitment to continuing to invest in our offices in Glasgow and Edinburgh. Our growth in Glasgow has been driven by the strength of our client relationships, the calibre of our people and our commitment to delivering innovative and solutions-focused legal services.

TLT first moved into Cadworks in 2023, becoming one of the anchor tenants of what is now recognised as Glasgows most sustainable office building. Cadworks is the first net-zero carbon building in the city and one of the most environmentally advanced in Scotland. It features 100% renewable energy, air source heat pumps, air purifying paint, and extensive use of recycled materials, including 80% recycled steel and 100% FSC-certified timber. The building also promotes active travel and wellbeing, offering Glasgows first cycle-in access ramp, 119 bike stations, and EV charging points.

These features align with TLTs broader ESG strategy and its commitment to reducing its environmental footprint while creating a workplace that supports the health and productivity of its people. The expansion of TLTs presence in Cadworks reflects the firms continued growth and its ambition to lead the way in sustainable, flexible legal services.
