TLT cements leading national position in 2026 Chambers & Partners rankings
National law firm TLT has continued to grow its presence in the annual Chambers & Partners rankings, with rankings for 111 individuals and more than 50 practice areas.
The Chambers & Partners are industry ratings that identify, and rank law firms and individual lawyers based on rigorous, independent and in-depth research.
TLT has achieved 14 UK-wide practice rankings including first-time rankings in Administrative & Public Law (Mainly Commercial), Consumer Finance, Franchising and Pensions. A further two practice areas were ranked for the first time across the regions in Scotland (Banking & Finance) and the Northwest (Planning & Environment), in addition to 13 new individual rankings, highlighting the firm’s growing strength and expanding national footprint.
The firm celebrates 19 individuals being listed as Band 1 practitioners, including UK-wide rankings for Partners Amanda Hulme (Consumer Finance), Ben Watson (Employee Share Schemes & Incentives: Employee Ownership), and Ewen Macgregor and Matthew Phipps (Licensing); alongside eight band 1 rankings across the UK.
The strong results follow another year of success in the Legal 500 rankings, which saw the firm achieve 89 individual and 73 practice area rankings, including 11 in Band 1.
John Wood, Managing Partner at TLT said: “It’s excellent news to see another set of strong Chambers results, so soon after our excellent Legal 500 performance. These rankings reflect the breadth and depth of our expertise, be it transactional, litigation or regulatory, with recognition spread across our practice areas, sectors, and regions. It’s a powerful endorsement of the exceptional work we deliver across the board, and a testament to the 1st class service for which TLT has come to be known.”
