TLT’s International team for the IBA conference

2-7 November 2025

Canada has the 9th largest GDP in the world, and the 10th largest Foreign Direct Investment outflows worldwide. Toronto is a global leader in business, finance, technology, entertainment and culture and home to this year’s International Bar Association (IBA) Annual Conference, which we are attending.

We are looking forward to meeting again in person with other like-minded law firms from all corners of the globe focussing on growing our working relationships and identifying new opportunities for collaboration. Throughout the course of the week, we will be hosting and participating in meetings with our international colleagues at other firms and attending receptions and conference sessions. These sessions range from practical issues in international M&A deals, AI in the corporate environment, preparing private companies to go global in the new geopolitical landscape, to the role of the Hague Convention in the cross-border litigation and EU jurisdiction over non-EU Defendants.
