- Advising the executors of an estate on inheritance tax, including business property relief on a substantial amount of shares held in a private company registered overseas and stocks on the AIM market.
- Advising the executors of an estate where the residue passed on discretionary trust on making charitable gifts from the trust in order to take advantage of the reduced rate for inheritance tax.
- Advising the executors of an estate on agricultural property relief on farms and farmland owned by the deceased.
Succession planning
- Advising a married couple on inheritance tax, succession planning and including trusts in their Wills in order to protect their wealth for future generations.
