TLT advises industrial component supplier on management buyout
National law firm TLT has advised Carla Giles and the management team of Assembly Techniques Limited on the successful management buyout of the business, paving the way for the company's next phase of growth and development.
Founded in 1987 and headquartered in Greater Manchester, Assembly Techniques is a specialist provider of components, kitting and assembly solutions to all industries. The business supplies a broad range of industrial and precision components to customers across multiple sectors.
The transaction will enable the existing leadership team to assume ownership of the business and continue delivering on its long-term strategic vision. To support the management buyout, Carla partnered with KeySME Business Finance, which arranged a tailored multi-asset funding facility with HSBC to underpin the transaction and provide a platform for the business's continued growth.
TLT advised the buyer on the acquisition drawing on expertise from its Corporate, Banking and Real Estate teams.
The TLT team was led by Corporate Partner Victoria Zivkovic with support from Greg Mazgajczyk and Anique Khan, Senior Associates, Harry Jenkins and Daniel Eltringham, Associates, and Paul Crighton, Partner.
Victoria Zivkovic, Partner in TLT's Corporate team, said: "This management buyout represents an exciting new chapter for Assembly Techniques and reflects the strength of the business that Carla and the wider management team have built. With a strong reputation, long-standing customer relationships and a clear growth strategy, the business is exceptionally well positioned for the future.
