TLT bolsters position in Birmingham with Legal 500 rankings
National law firm TLT has revealed its rankings for the 2026 Legal 500 UK, including several first-time rankings for practice areas and individuals.
The firm has been ranked across two categories – banking litigation and employment – both of which are first time rankings, demonstrating the expanding range of legal services that TLT provides in the Birmingham just two years on from opening; and one year since doubling its office size to accommodate its rapid expansion.
TLT’s listing for banking litigation follows the appointment of well-known financial services disputes specialist Roger Potgieter, who is listed as a Leading Partner in this year’s rankings, in December 2023. Meanwhile, the firm’s ranking for employment follows the arrival of Charlie Rae as a Partner in the Employment team in May 2024.
Alongside these practice rankings, three individuals have been ranked. Charlie Rae is included in the Legal 500 ‘Hall of Fame’, an achievement awarded following constant praise from clients for continued excellence. Roger Potgieter has been ranked as a ‘Leading Partner’ in Commercial Litigation, while Jordon Bray has achieved a first time ranking as a ‘Leading Associate’ in Banking Litigation.
Mark Elder, Partner and Head of Location for Birmingham said: “Since arriving in Birmingham in 2023, we have been on a journey of continuous growth. TLT has been setting the pace for legal services in the region, delivering a best-in-class service for our clients and creating the perfect environment for our people to thrive.
“These rankings are a testament to our growing strength, and impact on the market to date. There’s more to come for TLT in Birmingham as we continue to position ourselves to support our clients for what comes next. I have no doubt that further success is in our future.”
