TLT nominated for law firm of the year at The Herald Law Awards of Scotland

TLT was singled out in this category for the firm’s significant growth in the last twelve months, as well as its inclusive culture and commitment to going above and beyond for clients.

TLT has continued to attract significant new hires in Scotland, including appointing leading business immigration expert Joanne Hennessy as partner in its Glasgow office, ensuring that the firm is able to continue to offer unrivalled expertise to its clients. The firm has developed vast expertise in its corporate offering, with the team regularly acting on high-value, complex and time-critical M&A transactions. In addition TLT’s deep understanding of the Scottish renewables market has seen it play a vital role in numerous landmark projects.

Alongside an outstanding year of client work, it has been a year of substantial progress for TLT’s people. Last year, TLT launched a new fully flexible approach to working – TLT World - designed to empower its people to decide where and when to work based on their clients and their own needs. In July 2022, TLT made strides in implementing TLT World in Scotland with the firm’s move to Scotland’s first net zero office building, Cadworks. Located in the heart of Glasgow, Cadworks has been lauded for its impressive sustainability credentials, its focus on employee wellbeing, and its ambitions to support the local community.

John Paul Sheridan, partner and head of location in Scotland said:

“It’s great to see TLT nominated in the competitive law firm of the year category in The Herald Law Awards of Scotland. We’re committed to going above and beyond to deliver results for our clients, whilst also creating a people-first culture where our people have the space and support to excel at work. This is a credit to the hard work and dedication of the team that is always looking for innovative solutions to support our clients.”
