Contract Administration

Supporting major aerospace legal and business teams with contract consolidation

Client need: review multiple side letters and amendments to contracts and create a consolidated version, summarising the current position against each agreement to facilitate supplier relationship management.
What we did: invested in knowledge transfer to fully understand the in scope contracts, documenting the process and the markup standards to be followed. Trained a team of Paralegals and Associates to manage the anticipated volumes and implemented an online system for upload, document storage and reporting.
Benefits: providing a dedicated resource pool and streamlining the process, we were able to create capacity within the client team, whilst reducing turnaround times, ensuring consistency and driving down the cost of delivery. The management information that we generate is used to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Helping FTSE100 company remediate efficiently

Client need: review 100+ supplier contracts and Data Processing Addendums to assess compliance with international data transfer requirements following the Schrems II judgment and new Standard Contractual Clauses rules.
What we did: created a bespoke solution combining people, process and technology to review and report on all supplier agreements, identifying which required remediation. We then used automation to prepare template amendments enabling the client to quickly draft necessary updates to their Data Processing Addendums.
Benefits delivered: By combining intelligent technology with our data protection expertise, we rapidly assessed the client's position, identified contracts requiring remediation, and prepared the amendments needed for compliance. The client achieved their project aims in a time-saving and cost-effective manner despite limited internal legal resource and specialist knowledge.
