TLT nominated for three awards at the 2024 South West Dealmaker Awards

National law firm TLT has received four nominations for three awards at Insider’s 2024 South West Dealmaker Awards, cementing the firm’s position as a leading adviser in the region.

Now in their 18th edition, the awards recognise the achievements of the Southwest finance community including the region‚Äôs corporate finance firms, funders, banks, lawyers and private equity houses. 

As well as the firm’s corporate team being singled out for the prestigious Corporate Law Firm of the Year award, TLT also had three deals shortlisted in two categories. The nominations are:

• Corporate Law Firm of the Year for having acted on some of the region‚Äôs most high-profile transactions this year, as well as having acted on ground-breaking transactions driving the investment trends in the future energy sector.  

• Large Deal of the Year (+¬£25m) for advising LDC and the management team on the exit of Cakesmiths ‚Äì a Bristol-based manufacturer and supplier of artisan cakes.

• Large Deal of the Year (+¬£25m) for advising the shareholders of award-winning European tech business Amdaris on its sale to Fortune 500 Solutions integrator, Insight Enterprises.

• Medium-sized Deal of the Year (¬£10m-¬£25m) for advising on the sale of The Mike Burton Group‚Äôs interests in Sports, Travel and Hospitality to Sodexo Live! and the subsequent sale of The Mike Burton Group to Destination Sport Group.

Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on 27 June.
