TLT Strategic Legal Operations celebrated by prestigious British Legal Awards win
Law firm TLT has won the Strategic Legal Operations Team of the Year category at the 2025 British Legal Awards, recognising its success in integrating the latest technology and improving operational efficiency.
Legal Project Managers from TLT’s FutureLaw team successfully redesigned the firm’s Management Information (MI) reporting process for key sector panel clients. Through reimagining processes and embracing innovation the team streamlined operations to achieve 85% automation for a previously manually intensive process and reduce report preparation time by 83%. They developed and implemented two new Standard Operating Procedures, an internal client knowledge hub and a programme of mandatory eLearning modules, in addition to training 200 lawyer fee earners and support colleagues on data and reporting best practice.
The project was led by Head of Legal Project Management and key member of TLT’s FutureLaw team, Megan Jackson, with Senior Client Engagement Manager, Kim Thain; and Legal Director, Claire Gamage.
Megan said: “Our LPM team is committed to providing innovative market-leading solutions that align legal services with client expectations and business goals, elevating the clients’ experience. On this project we worked side-by-side with the clients and our Business Development and Client Engagement teams to define effective ways of working that help build strong and lasting client relationships, that reflect our role as a trusted 1st tier adviser. Receiving this accolade is recognition of the power of collaboration and the dedication of colleagues across TLT.”
Bill Hull, Head of Government and Public Services added: “This is thoroughly deserved recognition. Across the year, the team have worked together brilliantly, their commercial, collaborative and solution-focused approach resulting in a Management Information solution that has freed up almost a week of resource each month, streamlined the capture of data and improved the accuracy of our reporting. They are an integral part of driving our firm's growth and our clients’ success.”
The British Legal Awards, now in their 16th year and hosted by Law.com International.
