What is the IBA
The IBA assists the global legal community and influences the development of international law reform through its global membership, shaping the future of the legal profession throughout the world. The annual conference gives legal professionals around the globe the opportunity to connect, share knowledge, build contacts and develop business.

Why is TLT attending
Throughout the course of the week, we will be holding and participating in meetings with subcontractors and strategic partner firms, attending receptions, plus conference sessions on topics ranging from regulating third-country foreign subsidies, rules and new approaches in trade and competition law, proposals for sustainable foreign trade, challenges, strategies, new protectionism barriers, subsidies control and supply chain ESG.

Caroline is a renowned expert in subsidy control/state aid law and a specialist in other international trade issues arising from both European and WTO legal regimes. She chairs TLT’s International Trade group which advises central government and private sector clients on a range of international trade measures and post-Brexit legal advice.
David has over 25 years of experience advising governments, international organisations, academia and private sector clients on drafting, negotiating, and implementing international trade agreements, as well as international and domestic regulatory matters impacting the cross-border movement of goods and services.
Gareth provides commercially strategic advice to a range of domestic and international clients across the private and public sectors, with a focus on technology projects, data protection, privacy, cybersecurity and information law matters.
A former senior UK government lawyer, Will has worked closely with government ministers, policy officials, arms-length bodies and regulators and is an experienced negotiator of international agreements.
Sarah has over 20 years' experience in the International legal market, developing and growing strong relationships with international law firms to support the firm’s international strategy.
