TLT appointed to Government Commercial Agency's new RM6374 legal framework

UK national law firm TLT has been named as a supplier on Government Commercial Agency’s RM6374 Legal Panel for Public Sector, securing a place on all seven lots it bid for and strengthening its position as a leading legal adviser to public sector organisations across the UK.

Government Commercial Agency (GCA) is the UK’s central commercial and procurement organisation, connecting public and private sectors to achieve the best outcomes for the UK and its citizens. GCA uses its commercial expertise to create a simpler procurement experience that redirects valuable resources into essential public services – creating value for the nation.

The framework, which commenced on 30 July 2026, replaces the previous Public Sector Legal Services Framework (RM6240) and Costs Lawyer Services 2 Framework (RM6284). It will run for an initial three-year term, with options to extend until July 2031.

TLT successfully secured appointments across all seven lots, covering:

·       Lot 1a – Full Legal Service Provision for all Public Sector;

·       Lot 1b – Full Legal Service Provision for Local Government and Local Communities;

·       Lot 1c – Full Legal Service Provision for Health & Social Care;

·       Lot 2 – Focused Legal Support;

·       Lot 3 – Litigation and Disputes;

·       Lot 4 –Projects and Complex Advice, including PFI/PPP;

·       Lot 5 – Transport and Rail.

Available to organisations across local and regional government, health and social care, education, infrastructure, emergency services and the third sector, RM6374 provides access to specialist legal advice through a range of flexible procurement routes designed to deliver efficiency and value. The framework covers areas including procurement, commercial contracts, infrastructure, projects, employment, property, energy, transport, healthcare, housing and litigation.

The appointment comes at a significant moment for the public sector, with organisations continuing to navigate local government reorganisation, devolution, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, sustainability challenges and increasing regulatory complexity. TLT's multidisciplinary public sector team combines legal expertise, legal project management, technology-enabled services and commercial insight to help public bodies manage risk, deliver transformation and achieve their strategic objectives.

The successful bid was led by Sarah Clark, supported by Paulina Aktar, with contributions from public sector specialists across the firm.

Sarah Clark, Partner said: "Our appointment to RM6374 demonstrates the strength and breadth of TLT's public sector offering and our continued commitment to supporting organisations across the UK. Public sector clients are facing significant transformation challenges and opportunities, from AI and digital innovation to devolution, sustainability and service reform. Through this framework, we look forward to helping clients navigate change, deliver value and achieve better outcomes for the communities they serve."

The appointment further strengthens TLT's public sector credentials and means the firm is now appointed to both Government Commercial Agency legal frameworks.
