TLT shortlisted for two edie sustainability awards
UK law firm TLT has been shortlisted for two edie awards, including the coveted Lloyds Bank Sustainable Business of the Year award, which recognises TLT’s ambitious sustainability strategy including its industry-leading climate targets and award-winning employee engagement programme.
TLT is also nominated for Employee Engagement & Behaviour Change Initiative of the Year, based on its successful approach to engaging 1,200+ people on sustainability issues and helping them to improve their environmental impact both in and outside of work.
The edie awards are the world’s largest sustainable business awards, championing “bold and brilliant climate leadership”. The judges received almost 500 entries and TLT is one of only a few law firms on the shortlist, which is comprised of around 200 finalists across 24 categories.
Other finalists on the list include Lloyds Banking Group, NatWest, Nationwide Building Society, Triodos Bank, Vodafone, JLL and Thrive Renewables.
Maria Connolly, partner and executive board member who sponsors sustainability at TLT, says: “The edie awards are dedicated to sustainability and have been running for an incredible 16 years, so it’s an honour to be shortlisted in these categories and alongside such an impressive array of businesses.
“We have worked hard over the past year to translate our ambitious sustainability strategy into real, measurable progress; it’s been exciting to see this gather momentum both with our colleagues and externally, and we are continuing to work with our colleagues, clients and sustainability partners to explore new ways of working together to achieve our sustainability goals.”
The winners will be announced on 30 March 2023.
