Jordan Smithers

Jordan works primarily within the team's Secured and Banking Litigation workstreams, having a plethora of experience in complex mortgage enforcement, LPA Receivership and banking disputes.

He also has deep experience in title rectification working on a number of large projects for key clients. Jordan also advises clients on advisory matters which include Global Substitution Orders.

Jordan has wider experience of the FS Sector having been seconded to one of the team's largest clients where he was involved in drafting new mortgage terms and conditions, supporting a large account rectification project and assisting on mis-selling claims.

Jurisdiction: England & Wales

• Acting for a number of Lenders to advise on and implement strategy for title rectification involving a large property portfolio where the Lender’s security had not been registered. 
• Preparing bespoke Global Substitution Orders following a mortgage transfer concerning hundreds of live litigated matters. 
• Acting for a major clearing Bank in providing strategy and advice on “Freemen on the Land” and how best to obtain possession of the Property.
