Mark Thomas

Mark has 30 years’ wide-ranging experience in structured and specialty finance including securitisation, structured loan products, trust structures and loan portfolio sales and acquisitions. He regularly acts for originators, issuers, servicers and special servicers and trustees in relation to UK and cross-border transactions.​ Mark has acted for lead banks, originators, servicers and special servicers, liquidity facility providers and trustees in over 100 public and private securitisations across RMBS, CMBS, SME loans, trade receivables, auto and other sectors.

Stephen Downey

Steve Downey is a partner in TLT’s structured finance team who has nearly 20 years’ experience and has worked on all aspects of securitisation, receivables finance, asset-based lending, structured lending and bridging, development and commercial lending as well as general lending and banking transactions. Steve has worked on some of the largest structured finance transactions in the mid-market in recent years and has acted for a variety of clients including banks, funds, private equity groups, corporate borrowers and originators.
